The starting point is the required behavior: operating modes, sequences, signals, abnormal conditions and interfaces to equipment that will remain. For an existing installation, available programs, drawings and access are part of the assessment. The scope may cover a defined machine function or a wider process, depending on the requirement.
Engineering, implementation, testing and handover responsibilities are agreed for the project. The items below are a practical basis for that discussion.

Potentially. Retention depends on condition, compatibility, documentation and support availability. Identify the equipment that must remain before selecting a migration approach.
Do I need a complete specification before contacting Axistra?
No. A short description of the process, the present problem and the intended change is enough to begin a technical discussion. Detailed requirements can then be clarified.
Can the shutdown duration be confirmed immediately?
A dependable schedule requires the scope, interfaces and test plan. Preparation outside the shutdown window may help, but uninterrupted production or a fixed restart time cannot be assumed.
