Start with the application. Payload, reach, tooling, product variation, environment and cycle requirements guide selection; the complete cell must also fit the available space.
Can a robot be integrated into an existing line?
It can be assessed. Access, interfaces, product flow, existing documentation and the required modifications determine the feasible scope.
Does the robot’s catalogue speed define the production rate?
No. Application throughput also depends on the product, tooling, loading, machine readiness and downstream flow. A relevant cycle assessment includes the entire agreed sequence.
